Green is one of my favorite colors because I love nature and it’s everywhere around us. It’s a soothing and relaxing color that has been shown to improve reading ability and creativity. Also, a fun fact about the color green is that it’s used for night-vision goggles because the human eye is most sensitive to and able to recognize the most shades of that color. You can read more interesting information about the color green here.
Not only is it the color of harmony and balance, it’s also perfect for spring. With Saint Patrick’s day coming up, you can add various shades of green in your home decor without spending a lot of money (which we also associate with green). You can add a splash of green to your walls, washi tape your table lampshade, hang tropical wallpaper, or reupholster your chair just to name a few. Most importantly, pick a shade of green that you are comfortable with and that gives you joy. 1. Paint your window trims, moldings, and/or baseboards.
